Project: Eastside Community Ministry Web Site Redesign
Challenge: Eastside Community Ministry had a basic Web presence, but nothing that could help tell the story of the impact that they are making in the community. People in the community knew of the name, but had difficulty identifying what services the ministry provides to the area. The site needed an updated look that matched other promotional efforts that the organization had made.
Solution: A large amount of information was required, so the architecture of information was important. Drop-down menus make it easy to navigate through the site. The sections of the site reinforce that action is desired and it offers various ways for the user to interact with the site. They can search for information, give financially, or get involved personally. In all, the site is now an asset to the organization that they can share as a resource with their staff, volunteers, and community they serve.
