Project: Flint Loc Pump Alarms Web Site Design

Challenge: Quickly create an engaging Web site that would promote a never-before-seen technology that will re-shape the landscape of gasoline and diesel fuel security.

This client, who originally turned to Doug Rider Consulting for development of its Holly's Pump Shop brand, came back with a new opportunity. With a one-of-a-kind new pump alarm ready for distribution, Flint Loc LLC needed to rapidly develop a site without sacrificing quality. They were so pleased with the design and search engine rankings for Holly's Pump Shop that they didn't think twice before calling.

Solution: After several other considerations, the color scheme was kept similar to Holly's Pump shop with industrial colors that are representative of this industry. The navigational options were kept to a minimum, and the features were presented in a high-visibility area of each page. Also, the site features a video demo and informercial that were shot, edited and produced by another vendor. The video was embedded into Flash to provide a sleek delivery method that would reach the widest audience and provide the user with some control over the playback.
